The Block-Foresight Program Road Map Plan
The Block-Foresight’s five-year program will provide a comprehensive range of services that will help Nigerians in Canada thrive in all aspects of their lives. We are committed to providing ongoing support and resources to create a supportive community for all Nigerians in Canada. These programs include the following
Year 1: Family Assistance Program
The first year of our program will focus on providing family assistance services to Nigerians in Canada. We understand that family support is critical to the success of our community members. Therefore, we will organize events that bring families together, such as picnics, game nights, and cultural celebrations. We will also create a database of babysitters and nannies who are experienced with Nigerian children to assist working parents. Additionally, we will provide information on family-friendly events and activities in Canada to help families create lasting memories.
Year 2: Investment and Financial Education Program
In the second year of our program, we will focus on providing investment and financial education to Nigerians in Canada. We understand that many Nigerians struggle with finances in a new country, and we want to provide resources to help them make informed decisions. We will host seminars and workshops on personal finance, investments, and retirement planning. We will also provide information on government grants and subsidies available to Nigerians in Canada. Finally, we will create a mentorship program connecting successful Nigerian business owners and entrepreneurs with those who are just starting.
Year 3: Housing Assistance Program
The third year of our program will focus on providing housing assistance to Nigerians in Canada. We recognize that finding affordable and safe housing can be challenging for immigrants. Therefore, we will provide a database of affordable housing options and connect Nigerians with landlords who are willing to rent to them. We will also provide information on tenant rights and responsibilities in Canada. Additionally, we will organize a housing fair that brings together landlords, property managers, and tenants to create a supportive community.
Year 4: Employment Assistance Program
The fourth year of our program will focus on providing employment assistance to Nigerians in Canada. We understand that finding a job in a new country can be a daunting task. Therefore, we will provide resources to help Nigerians prepare for job interviews and create compelling resumes. We will also organize job fairs that bring together employers and job seekers. Finally, we will create a mentorship program connecting successful Nigerian professionals with those who are just starting in their careers
Year 5: International Student Immigration Assistance Program
The fifth year of our program will focus on providing international student immigration assistance to Nigerians in Canada. We understand that many Nigerians come to Canada to pursue higher education, and we want to provide resources to help them navigate the immigration process. We will provide information on the application process, study permits, and work permits. Additionally, we will create a mentorship program connecting successful Nigerian international students with those who are just starting
